Infinity Bunce graduated from an MA at Central St. Martins in 1999, she is both an artist and curator. She has curated large-scale shows across London. She has shown her artwork extensively both in the UK and abroad for example she has shown with the Vegas Gallery, London, International Photographic exhibition Bejing, China. Travelling light - WW Gallery - Venice Biennale, Fish out of Water Gallery, California , USA. Sponsors have included Celia and John Bonningham- Christies Charitiable Trust, Creative Buisness Enterprize London. Welsh Arts Council, exhibition award. She has also collabrated with high profile organisations such as the CDC Centre, Atlanta, USA- on ther virus and bacteria paintings. Her projects have been featured in many press publications such as Elle Magazine and The London Newspaper.

Infinity’s use of materials is far ranging from painting on MDF board to canvas to cardboard. She is seen as a contemporary urban artist. She not only identifies with street artists but also sees herself as a process painting. Her work past work has contained images large scale images of viruses and bacteria in Apoxi resin to people living on estate in London to her recent work based on Alien landscapes.

    Infinity recent work: Alien Landscapes
This body of paintings is a result of years of experimentation with gloss and eggshell paint on MDF and other surfaces. Parts of the pictorial scene are carefully layered with more than eight layers of gloss to create an embossed fluid and shiny surface that stands out again the flat rolled eggshell paint of their background area. Other parts of the painting such as the for ground are a fantastic array of fluid lines that create a dense jungle like area, the gloss paint makes it’s own plant like formations with it’s flows, ebbs and movement.

They are landscapes of nowhere but parts of them could relate to a number of countries. They have a slight oddness; they are not quite right, maybe the colours schemes, maybe the pattern formation that could be plants or just a chequered tile effect in the sky area. They represent a man-made landscape that’s yet to exist.
